Potato Spinach curry

Ingredients:
200gm palak (spinach),
200gm potato,
1-tbsp mustard seeds,
1-tbsp cumin seeds,
1-tbsp turmeric powder,
2-tbsp red chilli powder,
1-tbsp garam masala,
1-tbsp sugar (optional),
2-tbsp lemon juice(optional),
2-tbsp oil,
Salt to taste.

Method:
Step 1: Wash spinach gently and also peel the potato and cut in to cube.

Step 2: Grind spinach with little water until smooth paste.

Step 3: Heat the oil in pan on medium flame and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and potato cube in it.Step 4: Cook until potato cubes are golden brown and crispy.

Step 5: After that add spinach paste in it.

Step 6: Cook until all water part is burn.

Step 7: Add turmeric powder, chilli powder,sugar, lemon juice, garam masala and salt in it.

Step 8: Mix well and turn off the flame.

Step 9: Serve hot with Bhakri in plate.

    Tari sathe to Gujarati ma j vaat karvi pad she. Gujarati no blog mari dhan bahar rahi gauo nahitar hu comment to karu j. Spinach secret is nothing. Pan hu fresh spinach nu j saak banvi nakhhu chhu tene freeze ma nathi rakhati and cook karti vakhate tene boiled nahi karvani ane saak banvati vakhat te ni upper dish nahi dhakvani.

    When you crush the spinach then it is not good in flavor.....when you add lemon and sugar then it’s taste better otherwise you use Amchur powder or ready made Punjabi masala as you like.:)

    Thanks for nice words. For color you don’t cook more than 2-3 minutes after you add spinach and don’t cover with dish when you cook spinach curry then color is as it is.:)
