SIMP (South Indian Masala Powder).

Kindly thanks to my friend Viji.
Ingredients:

2-tbsp split green gram,
2-tbsp Bengal gram,
7-8 black peper,
5-6 cashews,
1-tbsp coriander seeds,
1-tbsp hing (asafoetida),
1-tbsp sesame seeds,
1-tbsp cumin seeds,
1-tbsp red chilli powder,
1\2-tbsp turmeric powder,
1-tbsp dry mango powder,
10-12 curry leaves,Salt to taste.
Method:
Step 1: Roasted spilt green gram, Bengal gram, sesame seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, and coriander seeds. All seeds roasted separately.

Step 2: Then grind all this roasted masala with curry leaves.

Step 3: Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, mango powder, salt and hing.

Step 4: Mix well and add cashew powder in it.

Step 5: Keep it in the air tight container. This is use in many South Indian dishes.

Every weekend go for shopping so this is my picture of grocery……….

    I try your masala because I like to use home made masala when I cook massor dal your recipe then papa come in kitchen bcoz of your masala give me more taste.....:)
