Khajur Paak / Date sweet


Sugar free sweet without milk and mava so it is became healthy sweet. Dates are one of the sweetest of all fruit.

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Makes: 300gm

Ingredients:
350 gm Khajur (Date) packet
2 tbsp ghee
1\2 cup chopped almonds and cashewnuts
Method:
Step 1: Deseed the khajur (Date).


Step 2: Heat the ghee in kadai or pan on medium flame.

Step 3: Add khajur and keep stirring.

Step 4: Stirring constantly till khajur is soften.

Step 5: Place it on the flat plate.

Step 6: Sprinkle chopped almonds and cashewnuts. Gently press the dry fruite.

Step 7: When set and warm cut it into lone stripes and roll this stripes and cut in to round shape.
Step 8: Store in clean and dry container.



Benefits:
* An excellent source of potassium.
* A good source of iron, niacin, and vitamin B6.
* High in fiber.
Drawbacks:
* High sugar content and stickiness promote tooth decay.

Thanks for your kind words. Mix the khajur in ghee for 10 minutes on medium flame then it becomes soft but it is also depend on Khajur How it is?
