Garlic-Tomato Ketchup

Ingredients:
1 Kg. Ripe tomatoes,
100gm sugar,
10-15 pieces of garlic,
5-tbsp of red chilli powder,
Salt to taste.

Method:
Step 1: Cook ripe tomato pieces and garlic pieces together for2-3 minutes.

Step 2: Remove extra water and skin of tomatoes.

Step 3: Grind with hand blender.
Step 4: Drain this pulp and remove the skin and seeds.
Step 5: Heat the thick bottom pan and heat this pulp for 10-minutes.

Step 6: Than add red chilli powder, sugar and salt.

Step 7: Stirring it continuously until the pulp is thicken.
Step 8: Turn off the flame and add ready made preservative (or vinegar).

Step 9: Cool at room temperature.
Step 10: Take clean and dry glass bottle and fill garlic tomato ketchup.

Special Benefits:
A well-known Harvard study showed that men who regularly ate tomato-based foods had lower rates of prostate cancer. The researchers theorize that lycopene-a powerful antioxidant-is the natural cancer fighting agent in tomatoes. Other studies show that lycopene provides defense against, including other cancers and heart disease. It is known to slow down damage to human cells caused by aging and disease.
The best way to get lycopene is through tomatoes in their processed form-tomato sauce, tomato paste, tomato juice and even ketchup. Lycopene is also found in pink grape fruits and watermelons, but it is most concentrated in tomato paste.
