Spinach and tomato curry

Spinach and tomato curry.
Ingredients:

100gm Spinach,
4-nos tomatoes,
2-tbsp oil,
1-tbsp red chilli powder,
1\2-tbsp turmeric powder,
1-tbsp garlic and red chilli paste,
Salt to taste.
Method:
Step 1: Wash the spinach gently. Cut spinach and tomato in to small pieces.

Step 2: Heat the oil in a pan and add garlic paste in it.

Step 3: After a few second add chopped tomatoes in it.

Step 4: Cook until tomato is look like gravy.

Step 5: After that add chopped spinach in it.

Step 6: Mix well and cook in high flame for 4-5 minutes.

Step 7: When spinach is mix well with tomato, turn off the flame.
Step 8: Serve hot with roti.

We use this curry with Khichdi and curd for light dinner.:)

Very healthy and nourishes dish.:)

Palak curry and kichdi look delicious and healthy. I loved the step to step pictorial depiction.

I love the color of Palak.It's pretty hard to get that even after cooking.Great combo with Kichadi.

Maney avi khichdi sauthi vadhare bhavey...toover daal ke maag ni daal ni bahu nathi bhanvti, paan aa chhoda wali mag ni daal to mari fav che.....aney a a palak nu shaak paan!

Yes, if you want the best color of palak then not too much cook then its color is reaming.

Just a day ago i got to your website thru Sailu's website... i find your recipes, simple to cook and healthy to eat, which i always look for :) i started to learn cooking from sailu's recipes (honestly, till i was athome, mom always cooked and never let me into cooking :).. miss those days ) then after coming to usa for studies, had to cook.. followed a lot of sailus recipes from 2007... now married and it's 4 years am cooking okay now i think :) i always like to cook healthy food for husband and me and i love home cooked meals... i cooked ur kichdi and tomato spinach curry for lunch now... it taste very good and healthy... am very happy for bloggers like you and sailu, because of people like you sharing knowledge, people like me gain a lotttt.... thank you veryyy much Kajal...
