Birthday Celebration…..for lovely mom.:)


Beautiful Rose for beautiful lady on her birthday…..






My Mummy start her day with Pooja…….so this is photo when she is start her day on this speical day............






After that we all take breakfast with Coriander leaves puri………



In lunch time …..My mom favorite sweet dish is Jalebi…so papa go to the market and return with jalebi and khaman dokla….this is a lunch at afternoon……
I gift three pieces of microwave bowl set to my mom…for my satisfaction she does not want anything but after thinking.......I think this is best gift to my mom….

My mom love south Indian dish so we all go to Dosa-In south Indian restaurant, this is very near to our home….she ordered Spring dosh, see here plat is ready to eat….





After that my mom favorite vanilla ice-cream with Kaju(cashewnut), Badam(Almonds) and Anjir Toping….We all enjoy the party …..:)








Birthday without Cake is not possible……but you know who send this beautiful cake…..my sister and her husband, both live in US……but send this extremely delicious cake with beautiful Red Roses to my mom…They prove that distance does not matter in this world……

Thanks for lovely roses and cake.:)

Simple Side dish with Gunda

Ingredients:
100gm gunda,
2-tbsp oil,
Salt to taste.

Method:
Step 1: Wash and dry the gunda with towel.
Step 2: Cut the gunda and scrape the seeds with a salted knife.
Step 3: Heat the two-tbsp oil in pan and add this gunda in it.

Step 4: Cook in law flame until they are golden brown.

Step 5: Turn off the flame and add salt to taste.

*********** Serve as side dish with lunch or dinner******************

Note: Gunda is one type of berry we use this generally in Pickle.

Panchkuti Dal

I post my mom brithday after 2-3 days...Ingredients:
3-tbsp moong dal (Mogar dal),
3-tbsp tuver dal,
3-tbsp chana dal (Bengal Gram),
3-tbsp masoor dal,
3-tbsp urad dal,
2-tbsp red chilli powder,
1-tbsp turmeric powder,
3-tbsp lemon juice,
Salt to taste,
Garnish with coriander leaves.
* Mix all dal and wash for 3-4 times.
* Add 2-cup water and soak for 15-minutes.
* Pressures cook the dal for 3-whistles.

* Cool at room temperate.
* Mash the dal with hand blender.


For Tempering:
2-tbsp oil,
1-tbsp mustard seeds,
1-tbsp cumin seeds,
2-tbsp green chilli chopped,
6-7 curry leaves,
1\2-tbsp garlic chopped,
1-small piece of ginger finely chopped.

Method:
Step 1: Heat the oil in pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves until spluttering.

Step 2: Then add green chilli, garlic and ginger in it.

Step 3: Cook for one minute so garlic and ginger is become slight golden brown.
Step 4: Then add prepared mash dal in it.

Step 5: After that add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice and slat to taste.

Step 6: Turn off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.

Sever hot with Rice.:)

Happy Birthday Dear MOM

Today is special day for me…..because gorgeous, attractive, beautiful, intelligent, delightful, exquisite, charismatic, true hearted lady… this is very few words for her……..MY MOM…..Today is her Birthday…..what she is want on this day?…..only love….no need any gift…..they want their children on this day…...so she can talk with their…share feelings…She want to share her feeling with all….in this day I decided I give whole day for my mom…no work , no friend, nothing any other activity….This day I share whole day with my loving mom…and give her favorite dish in breakfast and lunch …..also my papa plan to give party today night…...when she was young her day start with her child care and end with satisfactions of they work well for their children….She is very big part of our life…in our childhood, school day, college day…and after all in our whole life….So I wish to mom…..she is always smile in whole life as she smile today….:)

Sometimes when I take a look at the hectic world around me,I feel confused, but all of the noise fades away and I forget my worries when I think about my mom.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by life, and sometimes i don't know what to do, but everything suddenly feels right when i hear her voice and see the light shining in her eyes.

Ripe Banana Curry

Ingrediens:
5-Ripe banana,
2-tbsp red chilli powder,
1-tbsp turmeric powder,
2-tbsp oil,
Salt to taste,
Coriander leaves for garnish.


Method:
Step 1: Peel the banana and cut into round pieces.
Step 2: Heat the oil in to pan on medium heat.

Step 3: Add directly round cut banana pieces and cook for one minute.

Step 4: Then add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.Step 5: Mix gently and turn off the flame.

Step 6: Garnish with coriander leaves.

..................................Serve with Bhakri and buttermilk....................................

Stuffed bitter gourd with onion (Bharela karela)

First time when I post stuffed bitter gourd recipe then my all blog friend say we add onion in this recipe so I try stuffed bitter gourd recipe with onion and it taste better…..…Thanks for every body. I like your suggestion….so it’s my pleasure if you give any more suggestion….Thanks a lot!!!!!.


Ingredients:
200gm bitter gourd (Karela),
100gm finely chopped onion.

Ingredients for stuffing:
1\2-cup Bengal gram flour,
2-tbsp coriander cumin powder,
2-tbsp jagger,
1-tbsp red chilli powder,
1-tbsp turmeric powder,
Salt to taste.

For tempering:
3-tbsp oil,
1-tbsp mustard seeds,
1-tbsp cumin seeds,
1\2-tbsp asafoetida (hing),
Coriander leaves for garnish.

Method:
Step 1 Peel the bitter gourd, make a long cut in middle of each one and remove the seeds.
Step 2: Wash and cook in pressure cooker. After that mix all ingredients for stuffing and stuff this in middle of bitter gourd and cut into pieces.

Step 3: Cut long thin onion. Heat the oil in pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing and cut onion in it.Step 4: Cook until onion is transparent.

Step 5: Then add stuffed bitter gourd pieces in it. Mix gently with onion.

Step 6: Then add reaming stuffed masala over it and cook for one minute and turn off the falme.

Step 7: Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve hot with Roti, rice and dal.:)

Tuver Dal

Ingredients:
1-cup Tuver daal,
1\2-cup finely chopped tomatoes,
2-tbsp ginger past,
2-3 pieces of jaggery,
6-7 curry leaves,
1-tbsp mustard seeds,
1-tbsp cumin seeds,
1-tbsp asophotidia,
1-tbsp red chilli powder,
1-tbsp turmeric powder,
1-tbsp oil,1-lemon,
Salt to taste,
Coriander leaves for garnish.
Method:
Step 1: Pressure cook tuver daal with sufficient water.
Step 2: Mash the dal with hand blander.
Step 3: Heat the oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and asophotedia and curry leaves. Step 5: Add finely chopped tomatoes and ginger past in it.
Step 6: Then add red chilli powder and mix well.
Step 7: Add the mash dal and water if dal ti very thick.
Step 8: Cook until the tuver daal boils, then add jaggery and salt.
Step 9: Cook for 4-5 minutes and add turmeric powder in it.
Step 10: Turn off the flame and add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
Step 11: Serve hot with rice.
